Building on their BTEC learning, students explore themes such as organisational culture and stakeholders, governance and social responsibility, and quality and compliance. The session provides a clear introduction to university-level business study and
expectations, helping students understand how their BTEC skills translate to a degree context.
This engaging and interactive masterclass is designed specifically for BTEC Business and Marketing students who want to deepen their understanding of key concepts and explore how business and marketing theory is applied in today's competitive marketplace. Through industry examples, practical activities, and real-world case studies, students will develop the commercial awareness, analytical thinking, and creativity needed to succeed in their studies and future careers.
The session bridges the gap between classroom learning and professional practice, helping students understand how organisations attract customers, build brands, make strategic decisions, and respond to changing market conditions. Ideal as both a revision and enrichment activity, the masterclass provides valuable insight into contemporary business and marketing challenges. Adapted from the format used for the T-Level Business Unlocked
event.
