Our Sport & Physical Activity experience days are designed to give KS5 students insight into the breadth and vibrancy of university-level sport, and the careers and pathways beyond. They're the ideal first step for KS5 students considering progression to HE, and can be tailored to fit your group's specific needs.

Full event details

Our experience days run throughout the year and can ordinarily accommodate up to 50 students. Delivered by staff from across the School of Sport & Physical Activity (SSPA), our events are hands-on, expert-led, and designed with Level 3 curricula in mind. Each day comprises of:

Welcome talk delivered by SSPA staff
Classroom-based workshop focusing on sport business, coaching, or sport and exercise science
Practical workshops exploring sport science (including lab- and field-based testing), coaching, or PE and school sport
Student ambassador-led campus tour and Q&A
