We're delighted to offer Law & Justice Experience Days in the 2026/27 for level 3 learners studying at sixth forms and colleges. Discover the foundations of law and the justice system through engaging and interactive sessions.
Law & Justice Days at Sheffield Hallam University’s City Campus offer a taste of what it’s like to study law and justice subjects in higher education.
These engaging sessions enhance curriculum learning, support progression in the subject, and complement careers education by highlighting how law & justice operates in real life and the wide range of career pathways it can lead to.
During the Experience Day, students will begin with a welcome talk delivered by a member of the academic team, providing an overview of the subject and the courses available.
Students will then take part in two masterclasses delivered by law & justice academics. These sessions are designed to be engaging and interactive, and typically focus on key legal topics or areas of current debate, reflecting the academics’ areas of expertise.
Students will also have the opportunity to visit the specialist facilities in the Redmires building, home to our law & justice courses – this includes access to our Legal Advice Hub, where students can learn about real casework and community impact, and our specialist moot court, where they can gain insight into courtroom procedures and advocacy in a realistic setting.
Subjects available within the Law and Justice Experience Day include:
- Law
- Criminology
- Professional Policing
