A Future Focus Day is an exclusive event for aspiring students who are thinking about studying at University.
Future Focus Days are a type of open event to allow you to take part in live lectures, sessions and workshops. When booking you will have options to let us know what times you plan to attend.
This is because the day is split into 2 sections, the first being between 1pm and 4pm with a programme of lectures and sessions to sit in on and experience what it truly is like to study here.
Between 4pm and 7pm you will have the opportunity to drop by the information exhibition in the Social Learning Zone. Here you will have the opportunity to speak one to one with both course tutors and support teams.
Why attend a Future Focus event: This is a great way to get a feel for University life, you’ll be visiting campus on a weekday when real students are attending real lectures and workshops giving you the opportunity to drop in and experience this for yourself.
Throughout the event you will be able to take part in:
- Campus tours with student ambassadors
- Accommodation tours with Orlando Village
- Student support and how to apply information
The day is split into two parts, please see below for more information on what to expect during this part of the day.
Time: 1-4pm
This part of the day will feature:
- This day is a closed event by invite only for our Sixth Form and College colleagues and applicants.
- If you are unable to visit between this time, please get in touch with [email protected] and we can see if we can accommodate you earlier in the day.
Time: 4-7pm
This part of the day will feature:
- One-to-one conversations with course tutors
- Information about how to apply, admissions and eligibility criteria
- Student support exhibition
