Full event details

The UK remains one of the most popular destinations for international students seeking a world-class education and a truly global experience. This session offers international students a practical insight into how UK higher education works and how to make confident, informed choices. We expect the primary audience for this session to be international students who are studying in the UK for sixth form, school or on a short course.

Students will gain an understanding of the structure and benefits of the UK education system, including course types, teaching styles, and post-study opportunities. The talk also explores how to choose the right university and course, the value of accreditations and global recognition, and how to assess rankings, quality, and employability outcomes when deciding where to study.
In addition, the session highlights the cultural and personal benefits of studying abroad — from joining a diverse international community to making the most of student life in London. Participants will leave with clear guidance on navigating the UK higher education landscape and preparing for a rewarding university journey.

Where possible we will bring a current international student with us to the session so students can learn first-hand about the international student experience at our University.
