Get insights into the world of Fine Art at UCL and learn vital creative skills
This free summer course is designed for Year 11, Year 12, and Level 3 FE college students living in London or just outside. Held Monday to Friday at our Slade Bloomsbury campus on Gower Street, London, giving you an exciting chance to explore Fine Art in a university environment.
Over two weeks, you will take part in hands-on workshops led by practising artists and tutors, covering a wide range of disciplines such as drawing, painting, sculpture, analogue and digital film and photography, performance, and broadcast. You will experience what it is like to work in an art school studio, develop your collaborative skills, and take creative risks in a supportive and inclusive setting.
The course also includes:
• Daily practical sessions
• Group visits to London galleries
• A final group event/exhibition
• Follow-up portfolio workshops and support with BA applications
All costs are covered: lunch is provided daily and travel expenses are included.
