A degree in Finance exposes students to the areas of financial markets and the governance of global enterprises and places graduates at the forefront of multinational firms and financial intermediaries. Two specialist pathways are available: BSc Investment and Financial Risk Management offers a route to becoming a trader, a fund manager, a broker or an analyst in any area of finance; and BSc Banking and International Finance embraces the study of international banking systems and financial markets, preparing graduates for careers in the corporate advisory and financial services industry. Each degree provides detailed knowledge of how financial markets work, how companies make investment, financing and acquisition decisions and how modern banks operate.
As well as an overview of the courses, this taster session will provide examples of how you will use your skills in the field of finance and discuss the wide range of career opportunities available.
