Applications for our 2025 Personal Statement Workshops are now open.
Personal statements are an important aspect of the UCAS application process. Writing a personal statement is your chance to show your enthusiasm for studying a subject and give admissions tutors a sense of who you are as an individual.
To support with your applications, we will be running two online separate workshops for Year 12 students in June 2025. These sessions will give you an opportunity to understand how to structure and write your personal statement. We will cover the changes to the personal statement for 2026 entry. You will also receive guidance from current UCL students who have been through the application process.

Eligibility
Personal Statement Workshops are open to students who are currently in Year 12 and are studying at a state school or college in the UK.
For our personal statement sessions, all eligible applicants who meet at least one of the shortlisting criteria specified in points 2 to 6 on the Who we work with webpage will be offered a place on this programme.
