Teachers, spend the day at our Design and Digital Arts department at the City Campus with our academics who will run workshops on:

Our full range of courses: Gain a deeper understanding of our growing department from Fine Art, Photography and Graphic Design to Filmmaking, VFX and Games, with many more in between. Learn how our growing offering of HE degrees align with the industry and open up a wide range of careers. We will also give you tips to share with your students that can help them identify exactly which degree is for them.
What to include in your portfolio: Understand what to include for the different degrees and get tips on how to ensure candidates have the best chance of being offered a place.
Digital Technology: experience the creative potential of our new technology, as you play games, experiment with VR and take a virtual walk around the new building, with technicians on hand to demonstrate and answer your questions as you immerse yourself in this exciting environment.
Our excellent facilities: Enjoy a tour of our facilities that enable our students to learn the Design and Digital Art principles that underpin their future, which will include a walk past the brand new building which is being fitted out with an LED Virtual Set combining real sets with 3D environments, a Green Screen VFX studio, fitted with the latest OptiTrack Technology (motion capture), and a black box studio whose controlled environmental conditions will support immersive Projection mapping and Virtual Reality.
This event will help you develop your CPD as you further your knowledge on developments within the field and gain an understanding on how to prepare your students to study Design and Digital Arts within a Higher Education setting.
