ENGINEERING SYSTEMS AT CITY ST GEORGE'S

Systems Engineers provide scientific and technical expertise to understand, design, and utilize engineering, systems thinking principles, and new technologies to organize the body of engineering knowledge required for the development of the better-engineered systems of tomorrow, meeting global demands. At City St George's, this course takes an interdisciplinary approach to complex systems and the analysis of their interactions, leading to the successful real-world application of engineered systems.

Our Engineering department runs a variety of sessions available for schools and colleges, including talks on what it is like to study Engineering at university and taster lectures to give students a feel for university-level study in the subject.

ACTIVITY DETAILS

We run the following session types:

TASTER SESSION: We run interactive taster sessions that introduce students to studying Engineering at university level. Sessions run at City St George's are usually delivered in our Engineering labs, but we can also adapt some of our taster sessions to be delivered in your classroom.

WHY STUDY TALK: We can run a session which introduces the subject of Engineering Systems, what it's like to study this subject at university, and different career paths in this field.
