From 28th June to 2nd July, the University of Exeter will be delivering a series of live and pre-recorded online subject taster sessions and content as part of our conference programme, 'You do You-th: Empowering Generation Z'. The programme will be celebrating youth empowerment and young voices, aimed at Year 10–13 students.

Under this umbrella theme, we will be offering online academic content and sessions across the Colleges of Humanities, Social Sciences and International Studies, Medicine and Health, Business, Environmental and Life Sciences, and Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences, delivering a range of HASS and STEMM-based content.

The day-time programme will comprise of pre-recorded videos, content and activity which can be streamed, broadcast or delivered during school hours in your lessons. In addition, after school in the afternoons and evenings that week, students can sign up for and participate in live subject taster Zoom sessions.

These online sessions will give students the opportunity to experience a taste of university education as they watch and engage in academic subject video lectures and interactive seminars delivered by academic experts and current university students. Sessions could vary from a Politics session on the youth vote, to a Medicine interview with a junior doctor, to a Business panel on tips from young entrepreneurs, to an English/Film/Drama session on youth voice in the arts, etc. Interested students can also take part in competitions based on the programme’s key themes, and win prizes.
