Our vibrant, diverse community will support you throughout your time at Exeter, from your academic tutors and support staff, to all of the friends you will meet along the way. Each of our students has a different story to tell and they are brought together by their determination to succeed.

Student life

We have some of the most satisfied students in the UK - their opinions about the quality of their experience here have consistently rated us highly for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey.

Depending on your choice of degree, you may be based at our Streatham Campus or St Luke’s Campus in Exeter, or at our Penryn Campus in Cornwall. Our Streatham campus is on the edge of the City of Exeter, and St Luke’s campus in the heart of the City. Set in the beautiful Devon countryside, Exeter is consistently rated as one of the best places to live, work and study in the U.K.

Thanks to its scenic beaches and coves, and dramatic clifftop views, Cornwall is one of Britain’s favourite holiday destinations. The county also has a rich history of artistic and scientific innovation making it a fascinating and stimulating place to attend university. Both locations offer green and safe campuses in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.

Preparing you for an exciting career

Employers recruit graduates who can show evidence of team work, leadership, or who have spent time travelling and experiencing new situations and cultures. Everything you do socially, academically and in the workplace can make you more employable. We will help you to identify and articulate these skills to prospective employers. There are a whole range of CV boosting opportunities that you can get involved with whilst studying: from learning a language or studying abroad to volunteering in the local community.

Discover University

Why not take part in our Discover University series online?
