The School of Writing, Publishing and the Humanities offers schools and colleges the chance to participate in interactive workshops led by our university’s academics. These workshops introduce students to subjects like history, politics, English literature, philosophy, ethics, creative writing, journalism, publishing, and more.
We can work with you to create sessions that fit your students’ needs. These workshops can either introduce new subjects or give students a feel for what university study is like. We offer both in-person and online sessions, depending on what works best for you.
The sessions will be run by experienced university staff, who will lead taster lectures or workshops. This is a great opportunity for students to get a taste of university life and study. The goal is to help students learn more about university, experience what it’s like to be a student, and help them decide if higher education is the right choice for them.
