Find out how City's 100 years of experience in delivering courses in engineering can help you embark on an exciting career in engineering and hear what successful positions our graduates hold around the world now. Take a tour around our extensive laboratory facilities and get involved in fun activities - such as designing and testing a control system for a Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV), building a model suspension bridge, or taking a ride in our Airbus flight simulator. Meet the City Racing Team and see the energy-efficient Formula Student racing car they are building - or maybe take a look at a piece of the Apollo 15 Rocket given to us as a gift from the astronauts after landing on the moon!
These activities are dependent upon the specialist subject chosen.

We provide high quality presentations to students, staff and parents related to higher education. These presentations can be delivered at your institution or at City, University of London.

Typical talks include a focus on aspects such as:

The talks are designed to encourage and support students through the application process, whilst informing them about what City, University of London has to offer. The programme of talks is constantly being reviewed and updated so most requests can be catered for.

These talks are designed for groups of Year 12 and 13 students with a general interest in Higher Education and who, ideally, would be expecting to meet the City entry requirements for their chosen programme.

**School Visits to City University, London**
School visits are an excellent opportunity for your students to see what a city-based institution is really like. We offer bespoke visits to campus for your students to experience life at City, University of London. These visits can be tailored to your individual requirements.

They are generally made up of UCAS sessions and subject tasters.

**Subject specific talks**
We can also arrange subject specific talks, delivered by City, University of London's lecturers. If you would like to involve our lecturers in your next round of subject talks, please do get in touch and we will aim to support your programme of events.

These talks are designed for groups of Year 12 and Year 13 students with a specific subject interest, who would be expected to meet the entry requirements for their appropriate programme.

This is a free service and most sessions last between 30 minutes and one hour, although it is possible to alter the sessions depending upon the needs of the school/college.
