World Languages Day (Canterbury campus)

World Languages Day provides year 8 students with an opportunity to develop a greater understanding of the language and culture of other countries. Students will have the opportunity to use languages they are learning in innovative workshops run by university staff and students, many of who come from countries across the globe. In addition participants will have the opportunity to try a new language and to take part in practical workshops in art, drama and music to extend their understanding of other countries and cultures. Language workshops will include activities in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Portuguese, Arabic and lots more.
