Would you like to develop yourself by:

-Discovering why degrees with a global perspective can enhance your employability
-Exploring and discussing the exciting opportunities for studying and working abroad as part of your degree.
-Working with inspiring, multi-lingual academics to broaden your horizons.

We would like to invite Post 16 students from across the East Midlands to become a Global Star and discover how they can stand centre stage in the global job market.

We live in a globalised economy and the need to understand what connects our world, and what divides it, has never been greater. With international relations and global citizenship as its central theme, the Global Stars Conference will provide a unique and invaluable insight into how global issues are integral to study, travel, work and employability today.

With employers pushing for graduates to have global employability skills, and with over 52% of firms looking to recruit new staff with language skills* – it’s never too late to start a new language. As a Global Conference delegate you will be able to participate in world languages tasters and find out how these give you the employability edge. You will also have the opportunity to engage in a series of interactive lectures and debates on topics of current global interest that affect the way we live our lives.

If you have an interest in languages, global affairs, politics, international relations, history, media, culture or you just want to find out more about the world we live in, then follow the link below and book your free place on the Global Stars Conference at Nottingham Trent University.
