Are you in sixth form or college and interested in applying for an Art and Design course at university? Want to know what the application process will be like and what to include in your portfolio?

If you are applying to study at creative subject at university then you will need to show evidence of your creative talent. Universities will ask for you to provide a creative portfolio and, in most cases, attend an interview to talk through your work. Here at NTU we're passionate about making sure the students who apply to us have the best chance of securing a place, and to do this we would like to let you know what we're looking for in our applicants.

The day will start with an introduction to our University and courses with detailed advice and guidance on what to include in your personal statement, how and what to submit in your portfolio and how to make a good impression in your interview. You will then get the chance to look around our Art, Design and the Built Environment Degree Shows – which showcase our student's final year work, and be inspired by their creations.

Teachers are also encouraged to attend.

If you have any queries or would like further information, please email Esther Johnson ([email protected]).

Bookings are welcome from individual students or school/college groups – please note that there will be a limit of 50 students per group. Places can be booked using our online booking form.

*For group bookings please be aware of the following:
