Norwich University of the Arts

Institution Profile

Norwich University of the Arts

Located in the vibrant student city of Norwich, Norwich University of the Arts is the only specialist arts university to have been awarded triple gold (the highest accolade possible) in the latest Teaching Excellence Framework (2023) and recently voted the UK’s top creative arts university outside London (Complete University Guide 2026).

Courses range across Art and Design, Fashion, Film and Music, Acting, Business, Psychology, Marketing and Computing, all designed to build real-world skills. With hands-on, project-based learning and no exams. Career preparation lies at the heart of all our courses through award-winning careers advice, live industry briefs, projects with industry partners, networking events, visiting professionals and accreditation. You’ll develop a creative mindset and start your career with the skills employers value most.

We are a campus full of creative thinkers and innovation. With a diverse community of over 3000 students the university is big enough to experience new things but small enough to know your name. Our campus, at the heart of one of the UK’s most inspiring cities, is home to a progressive community that values diversity, ambition and curiosity. Here, you’ll be surrounded by people who share your drive to learn, invent and imagine. Whether exploring new technologies, shaping ventures or advancing research into human behaviour, you’ll be supported to grow intellectually and personally.

The university's alumni network includes Turner Prize nominee Glenn Brown, Batman comic artist Brian Bolland, Monty Python writer Neil Innes, BAFTA winners, Graduate Fashion Week winners, and D&AD Pencils.
