Southern Univerities Network

The Southern Universities Network (SUN) is a collaborative partnership comprising of HE providers in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. The SUN provides outreach activities to 137 schools and all further education (FE) colleges in the region, as part of Uni Connect – an Office for Students (OfS)-funded project.

The SUN offer a range of free resources via their website which you can use in the classroom for example video guides, career toolkit, signposting information and much more. You will also find a range of activities to book such as workshops, short talks, campus events & CPD opportunities.

Uni Connect works with further education colleges in local areas to help students better understand their Higher Education options at Level 4, 5 and 6. At SUN we launched the Progression Mentor programme in 2018 as a core element of our Uni Connect Programme.
