Full event details

The Division of Psychology at Nottingham Trent University is pleased to offer a CPD event for teachers of psychology. The event aims to develop links between higher education, schools and colleges and to share good practice.

As in previous events members of the Division will provide a presentation that highlights some recent developments in a key syllabus area.

We will also consider recent developments in the provision of A Level and the implications that these changes will have for teachers in schools and colleges.

The keynote speaker is Karen Duffy from Manchester Metropolitan University who is the tutor on the PGCE programme and is responsible for social science training, especially psychology. Karen has delivered many successful sessions to teachers and will focus on two issues (i) new ideas for teaching psychology, and (ii) preparing for an Ofsted observation.

Places can be booked using our online booking form.
