Discover the explosive science behind energetic materials, from the history of gunpowder to the powerful propellants that launched Artemis II into space.

Led by Dr Brad Westwater, you’ll explore the underlying chemistry and theory behind energetic materials, and discover what it's like to study chemistry at Sheffield.

You'll also be introduced to our undergraduate chemistry courses, and have the chance to get your questions answered by a current student.
