Short Session
The visit begins with a 90-minute session unpacking the ‘black box’ of AI. You’ll examine how Neutral Networks learn patterns from vast datasets, uncover the maths behind how machines interpret language, and consider the computational power required to make these systems work.
You will then tour Birkbeck’s Immersive Learning Lab, where you can experience the latest VR and AR technologies, followed by a student-led tour of our facilities and Bloomsbury campus to finish - a great opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for student life at Birkbeck.
