Brunel Research Jamboree: Thursday, 28 May 2026,11 AM - 4 PM

  • Step into a day of ideas, creativity and hands-on discovery at Brunel University of London’s Research Jamboree in our 60th anniversary year.
  • From live pitches and interactive science to music and immersive experiences, this is your chance to explore research in a way that is engaging, unexpected and open to everyone. Whether you want to get involved, learn something new or just enjoy the atmosphere, the Jamboree is one of the most exciting days on campus.

Ageing Research Showcase: Tuesday, 2 June 2026, 9:30 - 15:30

Film Screening - Coded Bias. Wednesday 3 June 2026, 12 PM - 2 PM 

  • CODED BIAS explores the fallout of MIT Media Lab researcher Joy Buolamwini’s discovery that facial recognition does not see dark-skinned faces accurately, and her journey to push for the first-ever legislation in the U.S. to govern against bias in the algorithms that impact us all. Join us for a film screening and discussion.

  • Join us in our 60th anniversary year for a Showcase of Brunel's Research Excellence.
  • We bring you a varied programme of talks, debates, tours, posters, demos and more. A showcase of the breadth of Brunel’s Research Excellence. For our evening finale we bring you our public debate, Zeroing in on Net Zero.
