This event is free to attend. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and eligible students can also receive a travel bursary to attend the taster day.  
As an attendee you will participate in two hands-on sessions. Information regarding the sessions is below: 
 
Session 1: The Battle of the WAGs: Vardy v Rooney  
What happens when social media use goes wrong? Kickstart your journey with the Law School as we investigate the law behind the feud between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney. Everyone is invited to participate, and no prior legal knowledge or experience is required! We anticipate your ruling... 
 
Session 2: The Legalisation of Assisted Dying  
In this session, Dr Adam McCann will discuss the recent efforts to reform the law on assisted dying in England and Wales, with a comparative look at recent reforms in other jurisdictions. 
 
This taster day will be held at our Whiteknights campus and will run from approximately 10:00 – 15:00, allowing you time to really immerse yourself in the subject and relevant department. More information will be made available following registration.
