Psychology Taster Day

Throughout the day, students will explore key psychological concepts such as: the primacy effect, Simon effect, level of aspiration, and Flanker effect, gaining a deeper understanding of how these processes influence human behaviour and how they are applied in real-world contexts.

This experience is designed to give students an authentic feel for studying Psychology at university level.

Students will:

• take part in practical, lab-based Psychology sessions led by our academic staff 
• learn about studying Psychology at university and student life at LJMU
•  engage with current students and hear about their experiences 

This taster day offers an exciting opportunity for students to explore the science behind human behaviour, develop their interest in Psychology, and consider future study and career pathways in a supportive and stimulating environment.
