Join us for an Education Taster Day at the University of Gloucestershire, hosted at our City Campus in Gloucester. Designed for Year 12 and 13 students, this event offers a hands-on introduction to what it’s like to study Education at university.
You’ll take part in interactive taster sessions led by our academic staff, giving you a real insight into the subjects we explore across our Education courses. Previous sessions have included debating mobile phone use for under-16s, examining the role and impact of early childhood practitioners, and questioning whether creativity can be taught in schools. Together, these topics reflect key debates and themes you may encounter on courses such as Primary Education and Early Childhood Studies (sessions subject to change).
Alongside academic sessions, you’ll hear about the student experience, explore how studying Education can lead to a wide range of careers, and take part in a student Q&A. The day also includes a guided campus tour, giving you the opportunity to explore our newly opened City Campus, including specialist teaching spaces and immersive learning environments.
Location: City Campus, Kings Square, Gloucester, GL1 1AW
