Full event details

Session time: Tuesday 28 April, 3.45-4.40pm

In this live and interactive Film Society, we are joined by Dr Syed Haider, Lecturer in World Cinemas in the School of Media, Language and Communication Studies at University of East Anglia, to discuss/debate La Haine by Mathieu Kassovitz.

Expect a lively and dynamic session in which you will hear a wide range of different perspectives and insights and feel secure to contribute your own.

The session will be run in English with continuous reference to and discussion of the French used.

Suitable for: Aged 16+ pre-university students studying, or with a more general interest in, La Haine. In addition, students with a possible interest in a degree in MFL/French and related disciplines will gain an understanding of how films are discussed in tutorials. Student groups, and individual students and teachers are very welcome to join us.
