Summer School - Fashion Design and Styling

This exciting hands-on course provides aspiring designers with a fun, immersive, and engaging opportunity to set their imaginations free.

Delivered in the university’s specialist BA (Hons) Fashion studios this course will allow your young fashion designer to dive into the vibrant world of fashion, exploring the principles of design and the art of styling while honing their creative skills. It's ideal for aspiring fashion designers who wish to understand and practice fashion design, styling, and take real-life concepts through to creation.

What your young artist will learn

• How the fashion industry works and the direction in which the fashion industry is moving.
• Introduction to fashion illustration methods.
• Insights into garment construction through demonstrations.
• Introduction to various embellishment techniques and customisation.
• How garments can be combined to create full outfits and insight into aspects of fashion styling, including accessories.
