"Language Kaleidoscope" - Education AberWorkshop
We often take language for granted: we use it all the time and it just means what it says. Doesn’t it? The Language Kaleidoscope workshop provides a really quick introduction to ways of thinking about language. We ask questions such as what is language and how does it influence our thoughts. What are the effects of using different language varieties? How do we express our identity through language and how do we respond to other identities? So to sum up: what is language and whose language it?
AberWorkshops are designed to be interactive and thought-provoking, providing valuable insight into university study and subject pathways while encouraging critical thinking and discussion.
