"The Forgotten Victims of Crime" - Criminology AberWorkshopBeing subjected to the punishment of being held in custody can be a devastating and life changing experience for individual. But it can also have an effect on the prisoner’s family, damaging the way they work and function – making them ‘forgotten victims of crime.’ This session will examine victims of crime and the role of the criminal justice system in assigning victim status.
AberWorkshops are designed to be interactive and thought-provoking, providing valuable insight into university study and subject pathways while encouraging critical thinking and discussion.
