Full event details

In this exciting taster session, you’ll be introduced to clinical voice disorders. Using your voice everyday is something we all take for granted, but imagine not being able to talk with friends, use the telephone or be able to do your job. We’ll take a deep-dive into how we all produce voice, what can cause voice difficulties, as well as how speech and language therapy can help. There will be interactive quizzes and the chance to have a go at analysing voices. You'll also learn about the programme at the University of Sheffield and hear from current students.
