During this taster day our academics Dr David Dobraszczyk and Dr Daisy Powell will give you an insight into our BA Education Studies and BA Education and Psychology courses at the University of Reading.

Full event details

The taster day will include sessions exploring sociological and psychological influences on childhood and educational outcomes.

You will meet academics and student ambassadors, have a campus tour and have a Q and A session with staff and students.

We will tackle big questions, such as:

How do inequalities shape educational experiences and outcomes?
How could we reimagine the education system to make it more equitable?
How do different parenting styles affect children’s school experiences and outcomes?
Is success at school driven more by genetics or by children’s home and school environments?
