Full event details

Our Spring Insight Day gives students the chance to explore life at Essex beyond the prospectus. They’ll experience academic taster sessions, get a feel for our campus, and begin to picture what university could look like for them. The day will run from 9.45am to 2.35pm.

Students will have the opportunity to join taster sessions across a wide range of subject areas, including Sociology and Criminology, Essex Business School, Essex Law School, Politics and International Relations, Philosophy, History, Modern Languages and Linguistics, and Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies.

Why Attend?

Our Insight Days provide prospective students with an informative experience that helps them make confident decisions about their next steps. Don’t just take our word for it. Take a look at the feedback we’ve received.

  • Brilliant range of subjects available. All of our students gave positive feedback, and the students found the practical elements really engaging.
  • Fantastic lectures, inspiring content. If this doesn’t inspire students to consider higher education or Essex, then I don’t know what will!
  • There was excellent communication prior to the event.

The programme for the Spring Insight Day, including details of planned activities and timings for the day can be found on our website.
