Who is it for?
Year 9 and 10 / S3 and S4 equivalent students within one hour travel distance of locations. ?
What is involved?
Students get the chance to explore and compare college and/or university and apprenticeship routes into STEM careers. The experience will include three days in three different STEM educational providers and STEM companies local to them exploring STEM careers including interactive workshops, university labs and hearing from young professionals about different journeys into STEM.
What are the outcomes?
Experience real world application of STEM subjects with hands on activities in educational and industrial environmentsGet exposed to STEM Careers to enable students to make informed decisions about their futureSpeak with and feel inspired by apprentices/graduates about their experiencesGo on campus tours, learn about student life and get thinking about future studies in a mature and informed mannerDevelop valuable skills such as presentation skills, team-building and social skills and see how they can be applied to your CV, Application Form and/or Personal StatementGain understanding of all available routes into a STEM careerBecome a Bronze Industrial Cadet

Cost/Funding£190 for all 3 days Bursary places are available for eligible students
