You’ll learn more about our Medical Innovation and Enterprise programme, and how it combines scientific knowledge with business skills to prepare students for careers at the cutting edge of healthcare. This session will explore how research into innovative products is translated into clinical services that improve patient outcomes. You’ll hear how the programme equips students with an entrepreneurial mindset to identify emerging opportunities, create companies, and revolutionise the way we diagnose and treat disease.
Alongside developing scientific and entrepreneurial expertise, the programme places a strong emphasis on career development. You’ll learn about flagship initiatives like the Company Showcase series, which has featured over 50 innovative UK companies, and how students are supported through technical workshops, events, and industry networks.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions to staff and current students about the course and life at UCL.
