University Admissions in a changing landscape
Keynote speaker: Mary Curnock Cook, Chief Executive, UCAS
Venue: Staff House, University of Hull
The world of university admissions is an increasingly complex one and with higher tuition fees raising student expectation, the role that teachers and careers advisers play in helping students to make informed choices is increasingly important.
This Conference aims to give those involved in advising higher education applicants up-to-date information about the higher education sector as a whole and the University of Hull in particular. The programme will include presentations and opportunities for discussing topical areas around HE admissions, graduate employability and successful transition. There will also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, to talk to and inform University staff, to hear from students about their HE experiences and to meet colleagues from other schools and colleges in our Associate Institution Network.
