Access to Queen Mary is an 18-month programme supporting under-represented Year 12 students to prepare for university. Benefits include an academic Summer School, 1:1 tutoring, tailored workshops, a £500 bursary, and consideration for a contextual offer.
Access to Queen Mary supports the entrance of students under-represented at Russell Group universities to study at Queen Mary, the most inclusive university of its kind.
Through an 18-month programme of activities, we aim to help students become more prepared for and successful in higher education. Students who successfully complete the programme will not only benefit from tailored academic and pastoral support, but will also be considered for a contextual offer to Queen Mary*.
Programme Elements
The programme includes:
- An academic residential Summer School designed to provide first-hand university experience at Queen Mary
- 1:1 subject tutoring in an A-Level subject of your choice
- A mix of online and in-person workshops and events focused on skill-building, transition support, and preparing for university applications
