The School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London is offering Discover Economics workshops to state schools as part of a national initiative led by the Royal Economic Society.

These interactive sessions are designed for Year 10 and Year 12 students who are currently studying Mathematics or other economics-adjacent subjects, and aim to spark interest in economics as a subject for A-level and university study.

Delivered by trained university student ambassadors, the workshops:

  • Introduce economics in an engaging and accessible way
  • Showcase economics as a dynamic and rewarding career path
  • Can be tailored to your school’s timetable and curriculum
  • Support Gatsby Benchmarks for career guidance
