Our Teachers and Advisers Conference is designed for colleagues who support or advise students as they navigate their Post 18 options. We aim to share the latest insights and updates on changes in higher education, helping you to better prepare your students for a successful transition.
The agenda is currently being finalised, but sessions will explore:
Our commitment to practice-based education
Closing the skills gap through the creative industries and unlocking the potential of AI in teaching and learning
Financing studies — addressing one of the biggest challenges and barriers to education for future students, particularly in the context of the current cost-of-living crisis
The latest UCAS trends and insights
A guided tour of our state-of-the-art health facilities on campus
Alongside these sessions, the day will also include Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities. You’ll hear directly from academics and university staff, gain inspiration from our students, and have time to network with other professionals.
The conference is free to attend, with lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day.
Time: 09:45 - 15:45
Location: Stratford Campus, Water Lane E15 4LZ
Following the conference, we are also pleased to invite you to stay on for our Open Day, 4 - 7pm. This event will provide an additional opportunity to explore our campus, meet more of our staff and students, and experience the wider university environment first-hand.
Please share this invitation with colleagues who may also be interested. We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an inspiring and insightful day.
