University event offered by The University of Law
Short Session Delivered online
Join us for an engaging and interactive session that introduces The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership by Kouzes and Posner — a contemporary and widely respected leadership model, especially relevant in higher education settings. This session is designed for individuals currently working in or aspiring to work within higher education, regardless of previous leadership experience.
Together, we will explore the values, traits, and characteristics people most admire in leaders and examine how these align with Kouzes and Posner’s key principles: Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart. Through discussion and personal reflection, participants will have the opportunity to share their own "personal-best" leadership experiences and gain practical insights into how to develop and demonstrate effective leadership behaviors in their professional contexts.
Whether you’re new to leadership or looking to strengthen your existing skills, this session offers a supportive space to connect, learn, and grow with peers in higher education.
