The legalisation of assisted dying
In this session, Dr Adam McCann will discuss the recent efforts to reform the law on assisted dying in England and Wales, with a comparative look at recent reforms in other jurisdictions.
The law of defamation: reputation, truth and the power of words
In this session, Dr Chang Wang will outline some of the key features of defamation law with reference to some well-known cases (such as Johnny Depp’s case against The Sun).
