Join the University of Aberdeen at the STEM Summer Showcase — a full day of hands-on workshops, inspiring discoveries, and a deep dive into the fascinating frontiers of science, technology, engineering, and maths. This event is open to S5 & S6 pupils studying at least one STEM based Higher.
Booking is now open for the University of Aberdeen STEM Summer Showcase taking place on Wednesday 18th June 2025 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
The event is open to pupils starting S5 or S6 in June and sitting (or have obtained) at least one Science or Maths subject at Higher level. Attendees can choose from a range of hands-on workshops, linking to current research themes and career options in STEM. The event will take place at the Science Teaching Hub, University of Aberdeen.

Please ensure that emergency contact details are provided. Teacher attendance isn’t essential, but staff are very welcome to join.
When booking, pupils should select a workshop from each column (three in total). Many of the sessions are offered more than once. Places in each workshop are capped, so early booking is recommended.
We will provide lunch for the pupils and there is space on the booking form to advise of any dietary requirements. Likewise, pupils should let us know of any accessibility requirements via the booking form.
