Barts and Queen Mary Science Festival is a science festival for children aged 14 and above interested in science and medicine careers.  

Taking place from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm at the William Harvey Research Institute, Charterhouse Square. Nearest tube stations Barbican and Farringdon which are 5 minutes walk away. 

Schools are welcome to bring student groups. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept indivdual student bookings.

The event will include sessions on the following topics:

  • Insights into the life of a cardiovascular pharmacologist 
  • Clinical Careers mini talks featuring topics such as cardiac physiology, physiotherapy and pharmacology. 
  • Chat GPT and Me
  • The Biology Data Dive
  • Human Error and Medical Device Design

This event is free to attend and lunch/light refreshments will be provided.
