The day will include:

Engaging, interactive taster sessions led by university lecturers on topics like language variation, accents, meaning, and the mind.


Live polls, quizzes and hands-on activities to get students thinking like linguists.


A lively Q&A where students and teachers can ask anything about studying linguistics at university.


Opportunities to meet current undergraduates and find out what it’s really like to study English Language & Linguistics at Sheffield.


A guided tour of our campus.
