Full event details

Winsten Day is a free event for Sixth Form and College students studying Maths. It is ideal for those considering applying to study Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related university courses, or for students interested in how problem solving and strategic thinking can be applied in professional roles.

The event will include hands-on sessions led by current lecturers and professors from the School of Mathematics, exploring A Level concepts and introducing some advanced topics seen at university. There will also be talks providing general information about applying for university.

The day is designed to be accessible and engaging for any student taking A Level Maths, not just those planning to study a maths-based degree at university.

The programme for Maths Winsten Day, including details of planned activities and timings for the day can be found on our website.
