Our residentials run every year for students in Year 12 or equivalant (we also offer a residential for Year 10 students). Experience university life by spending four days living on campus. Meet other students, live in halls, try interactive subject tasters and speak to current students about university life.
Meet other students from across the country, live and sleep on-site in halls of residence, try subject tasters in our industry-standard facilities, take part in social activities, and speak to our current students about life at UoG.
Year 12 students can choose from 3 subject streams:
- Creative Arts and Humanities
- Business and Law, or
- Science and Education.
The event is totally free, with all food, accommodation, travel and entertainment included.

A travel bursary of up to £50 is available to help with the cost of transport to and from the University.
What are the entry requirements?
To be considered for a place, students should be in Year 12 and meet at least ONE of the following conditions:
- You are eligible for Free School Meals
- Have a UK postcode from a low progression area. Check your postcode on our webiste using the link above.
- Your parents have not been to university
- You are currently, or have been, in care
- You are from a Black, Asian, or minority ethnicity
- You have a disability or special educational need.
