Full event details

During the day, we will showcase a range of employability opportunities within the global challenges sector. This includes areas like academic research at institutions such as BIFoR, our own forestry institute, and other global initiatives. There will be two informative sessions, each following an alumni-focused approach, supported by an academic expert in the field. These sessions will provide real-life examples of how past graduates have built successful careers in global challenges and what steps they took along the way.

This event aims to inspire students by demonstrating that there are many diverse career opportunities available after university, including those that might not follow a conventional path. We hope to open students’ eyes to new and exciting ventures, showing them the wide variety of career options available in this rapidly evolving field.

The day will end with a career-focused session led by our Careers Network, providing students with the skills and insights they need to make these important and exciting decisions about their future.

The day usually runs from around 9:45am - 2pm.
