This masterclass introduces the epigrams of the Greek Anthology, a huge collection of tiny poems that were the social media of the ancient world. By learning about and working with Greek epigrams we can expand our understanding of the ancient world and have more fun with it. The class is led by Dr Gideon Nisbet, who has translated Epigrams from the Greek Anthology for Oxford University Press World's Classics. The content is relevant to the GCSE components Myth and Religion and Women in the ancient world and the A-level components Greek Religion and Love and Relationships.

This Masterclass is open to students in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13.
