Health Taster Day

 Join us on campus for a day of immersive learning in our Simulation Suite. Our Glyntaff campus is in the heart of the South Wales Valleys, with beautiful scenery and rolling landscape. There’s always something happening or new places to discover.

Students will participate in a carousel of activities in our Simulation Centre, exploring what it’s like to be a Nurse, Midwife or Operating Department Practitioner. There’s also an opportunity for application support and highlighting career prospects. 

All courses, staff, facilities and supporting services are focussed on providing each student the best preparation possible for entering their career and progressing through their career.

Taster Days will give students a more in-depth insight into their chosen subject area and they’re a great addition to a personal statement. Just remember to mention what you learnt from the experience!
