Nursing is a challenging and rewarding profession that combines clinical expertise with compassionate care. BNU’s Nursing taster sessions offer students a valuable insight into what it’s like to study and train as a nurse at university level.
Our Nursing taster sessions give students the chance to explore both the theoretical and practical sides of the profession. Through a mix of classroom-based learning and hands-on activities in our simulated environments, students will be able to apply what they’ve learned in real-world clinical scenarios.
We offer Nursing tasters across our High Wycombe, Uxbridge, and Aylesbury campuses, all of which are equipped with excellent facilities. You can find more details about these facilities here: https://www.bucks.ac.uk/nursing-and-midwifery-facilities.
Students can take part in sessions tailored to their interests, whether in Adult Nursing, Child Nursing, or Mental Health Nursing. Each experience is designed to give a meaningful and engaging introduction to their chosen field, supported by our expert academic staff.
BNU is also happy to subsidise travel costs to support our partners* in attending as we are aware this can be a difficult challenge to overcome.
